This singlemode fiber optic MPO/MTP trunk cable is made with Corning glass fiber and features an MPO/MTP female connector on both ends. It is designed for high-bandwidth data center applications, including connections between switches and MPO/MTP cassettes.
MPO/MTP Polarity: Method A vs. Method B
MPO/MTP cables can be configured in several different polarities, including Method A, Method B, and Method C.
Method A is considered straight-through, with positions 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, and so on.
Method B is considered crossover, with positions 1-12, 2-11, 3-10, and so on.
Method C is the least common and is considered paired crossover, with positions 1-2, 2-1, 3-4, 4-3, and so on.
